Our sea salt is produced in Italy in a protected area, is obtained through the natural process of evaporation of sea water and is harvested by hand.
The chemical-physical parameters of the product have values that fall within the limits set by current legislation and are recommended for human consumption.
In fact, in addition to sodium chloride, which in the fine type reaches values of about 98%, it retains small amounts of natural secondary constituents such as sulphates, magnesium, calcium, potassium and numerous trace elements present in the sea water from which it is formed.
It is naturally ecological, it is candid because it is free of insoluble residues (the bottom of the salting tanks consists of a waterproof layer).
It is appreciated by modern theories of correct nutrition for its perfect balance of mineral salts: less sodium chloride, more potassium, magnesium and iodine than common salt and rock salt.
It is also dried at low temperatures to be milled into a finer grain size and is packaged in a simple way, without additives or anti-caking agents.
